Eng. Soud H. Soror is currently the Chief Executive Officer of King Hussein Business Park (KHBP), Jordan’s vibrant and dynamic business hub in the middle of Jordan’s capital Amman. Prior to joining KHBP, Eng. Soror served as the General Manager of Saraya Aqaba Real Estate Development Company leading the development of Saraya Aqaba mixed-use real estate project in Aqaba, Jordan with an investment value of 1.5 billion USD.
With 29 years of professional experience in the commercial and industrial construction project management, mixed-use real estate development (hospitality, residential, retail and leisure), and marine operations and services in Jordan, the US, and the Gulf, Eng. Soror has structured, led, and motivated teams that envisioned, developed and delivered new projects, and revived distressed and challenging projects. Furthermore, he structured and developed effective economic Corporate Social Responsibility Programs that reflected the positive corporate citizenship of the businesses he led.
Eng. Soror was the Former General Manager of Ahyaa Amman Real Estate Development Company in Amman, Jordan, and the Director General and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Aqaba Ports Corporation in Aqaba, Jordan where he directed the Ports Corporation to a record-breaking operational performance with revenue exceeding 110 million USD in 2004.
Eng. Soror started his engineering career in Huston, Texas, USA as Project Engineer at Hessert Construction Co., and Ashbrook-Simon-Hartley for 10 years, and moved to Doha, Qatar as Resident Engineer in the Ras Laffen LNG Port Project with Qatar General Petroleum Corporation.
Mr. Soror holds a bachelor degree in B.S Engineering, construction management from Oklahoma State University, USA.
