visit King Hussein Business Park and meets startups


The King Hussein Business Park hosted a visit for a business delegation from the Business Council for International Understanding, Amazon and Citi Bank and MasterCard. The delegation got introduced to the King Hussein Business Park and the role it plays in offering an integrated business environment to many leading local and international companies and start-ups. During their visit the delegation met with a number of entrepreneurs whose ideas emerged into existing companies in the fields of information technology.

Mr. Soud Soror, Chief Executive Officer of the King Hussein Business Park met with the delegation and presented the King Hussein Business Park Development Zone and the future Master Plan, which will be considered as a base for development that combines office space, business facilities, medical and recreational facilities, multi-use facilities and residential buildings.

 

During their visit the delegation visited Oasis 500 and looked at the company's work and objectives in supporting pioneering entrepreneurial ideas by providing training and funding to their owners to turn them into emerging companies in the fields of communications, information technology, smart applications and digital media.


The visit was concluded by stopping by a number of startup companies at Grow – building 23; an initiative of the King Hussein Business Park, which builds on His Majesty’s King Abdullah II vision to support the pioneering and creative ideas of the Jordanian youth and transform them into achievable projects that serves the national economy. The delegation met with “Madfooatcom” for e-payments in Jordan and the Middle East, “Tamatem” for developing and publishing of electronic games applicable on smart devices in the Arab Nation and last but not least they visited a couple of  startup companies under the “I-PARK” a project that incubates promising startup companies in the field of information technology and which supports creative entrepreneurs.






 


During their visit the delegation visited Oasis500 and looked at the company's work and objectives in supporting pioneering entrepreneurial ideas by providing training and funding  to their owners to turn them into emerging companies in the fields of communications, information technology, smart applications and digital media.
